The Apple Blossom Tour or a stroll through our many parks and area gardens is a great way to welcome Spring. Horseback riding and fly fishing are popular Summer pastimes in the Blue Ridge Mountains. And the fall season is just not complete without a drive through our beautiful mountain valleys during September and October to view the fall colors. And visiting a local farm or orchard to pick-your-own apples, pumpkins, and grapes or participate in a tour is a mountain tradition.
Every Memorial Day Weekend, the Garden Jubilee Festival is held in downtown Hendersonville, featuring 125 vendors selling plants and lawn and garden merchandise. The NC Apple Festival is celebrated in downtown Hendersonville on Labor Day Weekend every year.
